Commercial Band

The Commercial Band of the Tennessee Youth Symphony is a talented group of musicians and singers from the middle Tennessee area, under the direction of Gary Miller. The band features brass, drums, keys, bass and vocals performing a diverse repertoire of jazz and rock music.

The Commercial Band has had the opportunity to perform at several notable events and venues, including the Franklin Jazz Festival, the Franklin Street Festival, the Belmont University Troutt Theater, Nashville State University, W.O. Smith and at the renowned Ocean Way Studios. The band consists of members from the Tennessee Youth Symphony and provides a unique opportunity for young musicians to showcase their talents and develop their skills in a professional setting.
