Board Member Application

Before You Apply

Qualifications

  • Preferred prior experience serving on a Board of a Non-Profit or For Profit corporation.
  • Ability to dedicate to the time commitment necessary to complete assignments.
  • Ability to pass a background screen if accepted as a Board Director.

Requirements

Being a Board Member requires a serious commitment of time by the Volunteer Board Member.

  • Commitment: Minimum three year commitment to TYS.
  • (2 unexcused consecutive allowed.)
  • Participation: Active participation is required for all TYS concerts and performances.
